Abraham Lincoln is the United States 16th president, He was born in a very small cabin stood on a barren strip of land in West Central Kentucky, He was born on a peaceful sunday morning, 12th of February 1809. He was also named after Thomas's father. Abraham Lincoln's parents were living in a log cabin, there weren't a lot of space. Lincoln's father name is Thomas & his mother's name is Nancy Hanks Lincoln. As Lincoln was a boy, he grew up as a struggling hard working farmer. Later Lincoln became president of the United States. But before he became president, there are very interesting things he did in life. He did not went to school & I'm wondering how he was tought like us. Everyday Abraham Lincoln read books & also did a lot of writing. He reads at home, reads while he drives a horse * also during his free time. He was a talented of chopping rails. Thats why our school mascot name is "Railsplitters".
The conflict I'm interesting in is about Abraham Lincoln was invalid in the Civil War between North & South. North wants FREEDOM & South doesn't want any freedom because they want slaves. So Lincoln had a conflict about the Civil War. The North defeated the South because the North had more people & more gun that CSA didn't have. The second conflict is about Abraham Lincoln's sister in law was in love with the leader from the South. It's a shame that she supported the South instead of North. He was also a father with 4 sons, 3 died from sickness & there weren't any good medicine. 1 lived old & his name was Robert Todd Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln was very important influence on African Americans, he did a lot of work & made famous speeches about war & freedom. If I were leader of the free world, the first issue I would address would be the economy. I’m very interested in the economy. The economy is about money, how we spend it and how we get it. I once read something from a person named Samuel Johnson, who was a famous writer from England. He said, “Without economy, none can be rich, and without it, few will be poor.” I obviously agree. Without a good economy, many people aren’t getting the funds necessary to pay bills. I know thousands of people are having a hard time paying for their taxes and bills. If the economy is bad, banks will stop lending out money to companies. The companies would also be in a bad situation. The companies would lose clients and have to fire employees. Mission Statement
Professional Goals
My professional goal is to become a web designer. I’ll get a high school diploma on graduation and maybe in the fall, I will go to training school for about two years. I will be studying computer programming and arts. The type of job I will have is web designer. I will work in Philadelphia, PA. A web designer can make $100,00 a year which means I can make good money.
Personal Goals
My personal goals will be a lot to do in life. I will be planning to get a driver's license. I will drive my own car instead of taking SEPTA everyday so there would be no problem for me to stand out in the cold or when there is a bad weather. I want to buy a dark silver Cadillac Escalade 2011. I will make sure I have car insurance because it’s important to have that.
Maybe during training school at Johnstown, I’ll be living in a dorm. I will stay away from my family and feel free as a grown man. Later, when I finish school, I’ll be saving money to buy my own apartment. Later, I could buy a nice big house. I will still live in Philadelphia, Pa. I want to get married to a beautiful, responsible woman who could care and love me just for me. I plan to have one or two kids. While my kids grow up, I’ll be saving money for them to go to collage and I’ll be saving money for a family vacation to Hawaii.

WEB DESIGN
I'm interested in web design because I think it's fun to create your own web site. Using software language and tools, web designers create applications for the Web. Web designers have to know a lot of math, reading and much more creating. It’s like creating an object that was never made. If I could create my own web site, it could be much more popular than Facebook and MySpace.
I have some experience with web design already from the Software 1 class I took in Abraham Lincoln High School. I was proud and I already have an A for that class. I think it's important because it shows that I have skills.
I went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia website to find information because it tells about web designing. The Occupational Outlook Handbook was helpful because it explains everything I was looking for.
It takes about two years in college to get an Associate Degree in Web Design at Art Institute of Philadelphia. An associate of science degree means two years in college. I will study computer science, college math, communication and business law. If I want to be Web designer, I will take classes in
